I Stand

I stand for the flag.
I stand for my Grandpa, Bob Dozier, and everyone who served in World War II.      
I stand for the US soldiers at Normandy, Iwo Jima, and Pearl Harbor.                         I stand for Leroy Purcell, Oscar Anthony, and those who fought in Korea.
I stand for Orten “Stormy” Ware and the others who gave their life in the jungle of Vietnam.
I stand for Ray Martin and the other Veterans who died while on a waiting list to receive the medical attention they needed.
I stand for the men who are dying from exposure to Agent Orange, even though our government denies responsibility.
I stand for the soldiers that came home to boos and we’re assaulted instead of getting a heroes welcome.
I stand for Brian Moss and those who died on September 11, 2001.                                   I stand for Jesse Carlson, Patrick Tillman Jr., and Chris Kyle, the other men and women who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I stand for Jon Carter, Nick Crossno, Hayden Hollon and those who are currently serving.
